Log Cabin Republicans to run ad blasting the Hate Amendment.
I know we've all heard Sully say he won't vote for Bush over this issue, but I have a hard time believing many gay republicans (how is there such a thing anyway?) will jump ship over this. Seems to me, they'll just do this type of thing to push him to dump the idea, instead of doing the more productive thing: Voting him out of office.
The article does not mention what the motive is specifically, to turn people off Bush, or just the amendment itself.. even though, as stated above, my initial reaction is that of the former, read which states they'll be airing the ad in (Washington, D.C., Ohio, Missouri, Florida, Minnesota, New Mexico, New Hampshire, and Wisconsin) and you get the impression that airing them in the swing states is a direct assault on Bush's electorate.
What do you think?
